VIVARIUM

This tank was engineered to be a self sufficient ecosystem. Part water - part land, it was home for fish, turtles, lizards, and frogs. All cables and tubes were hidden the stone backdrop and hand made vines. There are waterfalls, small ponds, and fog. At night the crickets, frogs, and water made music of the rainforest!

After seeing the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom I wanted to learn how to sculpt using portland cement. I volunteered to help mix and paint this exhibit at the reptile house in the Cincinnati Zoo.
